For the purpose of the Oisquercq-Buizingen project, which aims at enhancing the reliability of Elia infrastructures in the region, a permit application was submitted by Elia in mid-October with the authorities of the Walloon Region relating to the dismantling of the overhead line between the substations of Oisquercq (Tubize) and Buizingen (Halle).

On Monday 13 June, Elia is starting excavation work on Begonialaan for laying a high-voltage cablev between Buizingen en Oostkerk.

Elia is starting the laying of underground electricity cables between Buizingen and Oisquercq. On Tuesday 7 June, Elia will start excavations in Baesberg, from Dokter Spitaelslaan to Boslaan on the side of the even numbered houses. During the works, access to the houses will remain guaranteed. Waste collection will also follow the normal procedure. The end of the works is planned for mid-July.

Elia is starting the laying of underground electricity cables between Buizingen and Oisquercq. The works are being carried out by means of directional drilling. This was decided in consultation with the city of Halle and the contractor to minimise hindrance as much as possible. The works will start on Tuesday 7 June on Victor Mertensstraat.

The contractor is currently carrying out necessary maintenance work on a number of high-voltage pylons in Halle. This work has been commissioned by Elia. The work starts with the high-voltage pylon in Dokter Spitaelslaan and will take several days per pylon.

Elia is currently working on the laying of the underground electricity cables between Buizingen and Oostkerk. Excavation work for the laying of conduits starts on Monday 4 April. According to the current schedule, the work should be completed on 22 April.

On Wednesday 23 March the pupils of the fifth and sixth year of Dworp Municipal School visited infrastructure works for the Buizingen-Oostkerk project. Elia is currently laying electricity cables in Buizingen.
 

Local residents who would like to get more information about the Braine-l’Alleud–Oisquercq project can meet the Elia team during two information sessions organised in Braine-le-Château.

Elia is laying 150-kV underground electricity cables between Buizingen and Oostkerk. Directional drilling was carried out on Friday 22 October. The excavation work in Veldstraat and Kruisstraat will start on 8 November.

Our project to lay an underground line, which started in Flanders in August 2021, remains on schedule and will begin in Wallonia on 4 October.

Elia is laying new 150-kV underground electricity cables in Veldstraat, Kouter, Resteleurs, Driepikkel and Berendries. The work will start on Monday, 2 August 2021 and will, under normal circumstances, run until Friday, 10 September 2021.
