Maintenance work on high-voltage pylons in Halle

The contractor is currently carrying out necessary maintenance work on a number of high-voltage pylons in Halle. This work has been commissioned by Elia. The work starts with the high-voltage pylon in Dokter Spitaelslaan and will take several days per pylon.

There will be some minor modification work to the pylons in Dokter Spitaelslaan, Ernest Duezstraat, Panoramalaan and Welkomstlaan. The demolition of the high-voltage line and pylons is still planned for 2024.

Minimising disruption

Elia and the contractor are making every effort to minimise the disruption.

  • All homes, businesses and farmland will remain accessible at all times. Owners will be informed of any exceptions to these arrangements.
  • Work is only being performed during the day between 7:00 and 19:00.
  • During the work, the electricity supply in the region remains guaranteed.
