Task Force Multi-Energy Scenario's
This task force deals with the creation of multi-energy scenarios for use in Belgium’s national development plans.
What does the task force scenarios do?
The purpose of this task force is to co-create multi-energy scenarios for use in Belgium’s national development plans. The steps involved in the creation of scenarios include amongst others:
- The collection of relevant evidence and observed trends related to the future energy mix;
- The establishment of storylines representing diverse but credible future energy scenarios;
- The quantification of scenarios based on these established storylines
To foster broad support of the scenarios resulting from the Task Force stakeholders are invited to workshops where key assumptions will be presented and discussed ahead of public consultation. We strongly believe that this co-creation process will allow all stakeholders to contribute their insights and gain a comprehensive understanding of future energy scenarios, which will serve as the foundation for Belgian development plans.
Organisation
The task force will start with a kickoff meeting to introduce the proposed methodology and issue a call for evidence. This will be followed by a series of workshops, culminating in a public consultation.
Administrative duties for this Task Force are handled by:
