Public consultation for environmental permit begins
Public consultation
Elia has submitted a permit application for the expansion and upgrading of the 380-kV high-voltage line between the Massenhoven (Zandhoven) and Van Eyck (Kinrooi) high-voltage substations. The application was declared complete on July 31st 2020. The public consultation will begin on the 14th of August 2020 and run until the 12th of September 2020. In the municipality Oudsbergen, the public consultation will run from the 8th of August until the 6th of September 2020.
Viewing the permit application
The public consultation is announced on the websites of the municipalities concerned, on the Elia website and on yellow posters displayed along the route. During the public consultation, you can view the entire application at the town halls of all the municipalities concerned: Zandhoven, Grobbendonk, Herentals, Olen, Geel, Laakdal, Meerhout, Ham, Balen, Hechtel-Eksel, Oudsbergen, Peer, Bocholt, Bree and Kinrooi.
