Mobility news - Seraing
Update: rue des Nations-Unies and a section of the N90 highway have reopened to traffic in both directions.
Update - 10th of March 2025:
The Rue des Nations-Unies and the section of the N90 are reopened. These two parts of the road are once again passable in both directions.
The work was able to take place on schedule during the school holidays in order to reduce its impact on road users and for the students and teachers of the Royal Air Pur Athenaeum.
Thank you to all road users for their patience and understanding!
News of 24 February:
These works are needed so we can restore access to the forest ranger's house (Rue des Nations-Unies) and restore the N90 once the project itself is completed.
The works begin on 24 February and run until 28 February for Rue des Nations-Unies and 4 March for the relevant section of the N90.
Temporary change in traffic rules
The works on these two roads will require traffic to flow along a single lane. A mobility plan has been deployed in conjunction with the local police and municipal authorities to provide motorists with an alternative route. Motorists are advised to check the traffic diversion signs posted on-site.
Rue des Nations-Unies - from 24/02 till 28/02
Traffic will be directed to the lane running from the Plainevaux roundabout to the Athénée Royal de l'Air Pur.
The N90 - from 24/02 till 04/03
The trafic will be redirected to a single lane running in the direction from Liège to Huy.
A diversion will also be deployed in addition to these temporary changes
