Informal public consultation regarding design clarifications and implementation modifications following from the return of experience of iCAROS phase 1 impacting the Scheduling Agent

Elia launches today the informal consultation of its proposal for design clarifications and implementation modifications following from the Return of Experience (REX) iCAROS phase 1 limited to impacts for the Scheduling Agent (T&C SA).

Context

The document for which feedback is requested reflects the proposal for 8 reported issues.

Through this informal consultation Elia is looking for feedback whether

  1. The proposed ways forward to tackle these issues are acceptable for all market parties. These ways forward could be:
    • A solution proposed by Elia
    • A process to come to a solution
    • A temporary workaround as long as no solution is found.
  2. In case of implementation changes, the proposed timing for implementing the modifications is acceptable for all market parties
  3. In case of limited contractual modifications, market parties agree with the proposal of Elia to only modify the T&C SA annexes for these specific changes.

Consultation Period

The stakeholders are therefore kindly requested to provide their feedback regarding the above-mentionned three points.

The stakeholders are given three weeks for providing their feedback. The consultation period is set from Thursday 23 January, 2025 to Wednesday 12 February, 2025.
