Works on new section from 22 April

From Tuesday, 22 April 2025, in collaboration with Besix Unitec, we will be starting earthworks and laying new underground medium-voltage cables.

Details of the works and impact on local residents

The works will be undertaken from Rue des Combattants 7 to Route de Gerpinnes 18 (RN975).

Appropriate signposting will be put in place, including diversions for light vehicles, in order to minimise disruption for users who do not live on the section concerned. 

Work on this section will take around two months to complete, subject to unforeseen circumstances.

Residents directly affected will be able to access their homes with variable waiting times depending on the progress of the works.

Special arrangements for the Whitsun weekend

Together with the local authorities, we have made special arrangements to ensure the smooth running of Whit Walk processions scheduled for the Whitsun weekend.

We would like to thank everyone affected by these works for their understanding and patience throughout the duration of this project, which aims to improve security of supply in the region.
