Temporary R4 closures near Energiestraat on the nights of 9 and 16 November 2024

We are constructing the new Baekeland high-voltage substation in the port of Ghent.

To ensure works proceed safely, the R4 will be temporarily closed between the Energiestraat and Rodenhuizekaai from 10 p.m. on Saturday 9 November to Sunday 10 November (until 2 p.m. at the latest) and from 10 p.m. on Saturday 16 November to Sunday 17 November (until 2 p.m. at the latest).

Access to businesses will be possible at all times while the works are in progress. There will be a local diversion via Lange Mate, Hulsdonk and Sprendonkstraat in both directions.
