Strategic Reserve : input data for determining the volume for winter 2017-2018

In the framework of the volume determination for the strategic reserve, Elia organized a public consultation in June 2016 on the methodology and the different assumptions and data sources that will be used to determine the volume for the winter 2017-2018.
Context
As indicated at that time, an additional consultation on the raw input data used for the calculation will be organized in the September.
Period
This consultation aimed to receive any comments of market participants and the consultation period was set from Monday 19 September to Monday 3 October 2016, 6:00pm.
An explanation of all assumptions on which the next volume evaluation for the strategic reserve will be based for winter 2017-2018 is given in this presentation.
The reactions could be communicated to Elia until Monday 3 October 2016, 18:00.
In total, Elia received feedback from 7 market parties of which 2 were confidential.
In this consultation report Elia publishes a summary of received reactions to the consultation in order to inform market parties and to give its replies. This will also be presented in the Task Force "Implementation Strategic Reserves" in the on December 1st 2016.
