Maintenance work planned on the Gramme-Rimière 380 kV line

At the beginning of May, Elia's teams will be carrying out maintenance work on the intrinsic safety of the pylons at various points on the Gramme-Rimière 380 kV line.

Our teams will then begin temporary work on the future 380 kV line reinforcement site, creating access tracks and work areas.

No permit is required for these operations.

Access rights to the areas affected by the work have been agreed with the people directly concerned (owners/farmers).

The purpose of the Gramme-Rimière project is to anticipate the future energy needs of the Liège region as part of the energy transition. Specifically, it involves the installation of a second electrical circuit (three phase transition line) on the existing infrastructure and reinforcement of the pylons and their foundations.
