Rue des Nations-Unies in Seraing reopens for good

As part of work to lay the high-voltage underground connection linking Seraing CCGT power plant to the Elia electricity substation located in Rimière (Neupré), Rue des Nations-Unies in Seraing has been completely closed to traffic since 5 August.

The latest works in the area consisted of the final resurfacing of the carriageway and the road markings. This work also enabled the carriageway to be completely renovated.

Now that it is completed, the Rue des Nations-Unies will be reopened for traffic from 6:00 pm on Friday, 23 August. This timing is in keeping with Elia's commitment to the local authorities to return this major road to users before the start of the new school year on Monday, 26 August.

Both lanes will therefore be open to traffic again, and buses will also be able to resume their usual route.
