New traffic diversion route in Hanzinnen

On Tuesday 14 January 2025, we have introduced a new traffic diversion route in Hanzinne. Please see the diagram below for details.

The purpose of this new diversion is to minimise inconvenience caused by the works and to improve the flow of traffic.

The forthcoming works will make it difficult to keep to the alternating traffic pattern currently in use. This new diversion will make it possible to bypass the current worksite on the route de Gerpinnes. To limit noise pollution and for safety reasons, the speed limit will remain at 30 km/h over the entire length of the diversion.

If the test phase of this new diversion proves to be successful, it is expected to remain in place throughout the month of February. Otherwise, we will revert to the previous arrangements.
