Change to the diversion for Elia's Gerpinnes-Hanzinelle work site

From 6 May 2024, a new diversion will be in place from Rue Fayt in Hanzinelle and Rue du Sommet in Hanzinne in order to minimise inconvenience to road users from the work site. 

For safety reasons, only one direction of traffic is permitted on certain sections. 

The N975 is now reopen to traffic from Donveau to the entrance to Hanzinelle. 

• Driving and parking are prohibited on the RN 975 between Place d'Hanzinelle in Hanzinelle and Rue du  Sommet in Hanzinne.
• The speed limit is 50 km/h on the various sections of road included in the diversion and located outside built-up areas. 
• Vehicles with a laden weight of more than 7.5 tonnes are prohibited on the various sections of road included in the diversion and located outside built-up areas, except for local traffic and agricultural vehicles.
