As the operator of Belgium’s transmission system, Elia regularly consults Belgian market parties and the general public.

Stakeholder involvement

Elia sets great store by input, responses and feedback from the Belgian market parties and the general public, which is why we regularly consult both groups as part of our work as the operator of the Belgian electricity transmission system.

We gather their views at an early stage in the design process, with consultation topics including market processes, products, design notes and regulated contracts, whether new or undergoing revision.
